Arckit Wins GOOD DESIGN® Award 2020

What a way to end one utterly surreal year and ring in a new one with great hope, belief and optimism. Arckit GO ECO, one of our very exciting new range of kits launching in early ’21 has just won a GOOD DESIGN® Award, the oldest and the most prestigious awards program in the world founded  70 years ago in Chicago by icons of that era , Eero Saarinen, Charles and Ray Eames and Edgar Kaufmann, Jr.

The GOOD DESIGN Program, presented by The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design and Metropolitan Arts Press Ltd., honours the most innovative and cutting-edge industrial, product, and graphic designs produced around the world in their pursuit of extraordinary design excellence. With such an eminent jury including Christos Passas, Director of Zaha Hadid Architects, Claudia Donà renowned Journalist and Design Critic and John Marx Architect & Chief Artistic Officer at Form4 Architecture, we are absolutely overjoyed to receive this revered award.

Myself and our two amazing creatives, Welly Alves and Rodrigo Rossetto together with the entire Arckit team have been working nonstop throughout the year to bring further enhanced meaning, educational value and unlimited creativity to Arckit as the truly ‘open-ended’ and inspirational architectural design tool for all to enjoy.  GO ECO embodies our continued journey and direction and is expected to launch by May 2021.
